Time to celebrate again. I just achieved another significant milestone by meeting the deadline to submit all the blurbs for my investigative memoir to my publisher, Milspeak Books. I sent them yesterday, July 1, which is also the 46th wedding anniversary of my wife Brenda and me. I am thankful to the influential figures who provided endorsements for my book, “Because: A CIA Cover-up and a Son’s Odyssey to Find the Father He Never Knew” (to be released on Father’s Day, June 15, 2025).
I am blessed to have received endorsements from a diverse group of highly respected individuals, including authors of books of similar themes, Kentucky Poet Laureates, Pulitzer Prize nominees, whistleblowing authorities, creative writing and religious scholars, as well as internationally known Vietnam War era veterans and civilians who have dedicated their lives to making amends, which my book explores in various ways.

I wrote a comment but do not know if it reached you or not because I do not know how to send it. It is reference Ambassador James R. Bullington, who is originally from Tennessee, now believed to be in Virginia.

James: Ambassador James R. Bullington joined the Foreign Service same time as I was recruited and sent to Saigon, March, 1962, Battle-Field Commissioned in-country 1964 Limited, and again, 1968 Career Appointment. He did not arrive in-country until 1965, but he was in position at Main State, DC, to know details of some of the great mysteries of the Vietnam War such as loss of 107 persons, March, 1962 (Flying Tiger), loss of your Kentucky Public Safety Advisor father, (Air America), Hau Nghia Province, 1965. I did not meet Bullington personally, in Vietnam, until 1965, at Nha Trang, Region II, when we were same rank. He worked with, and for, JFK‘s Hatchet Man, Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge, both in DC and Saigon, if I remember correctly. Have you ever spoken with him? His wife, from Danang, is Vietnamese. I would also like to speak with them concerning my own and other FSO mystery cases.
Regards,
Bruce Warren Rush, Sr.
