Event at Rockport Fulton/Corpus Christi KOA

Brenda and I stumbled upon a hidden gem as a venue for one of my author events. The Rockport Fulton/Corpus Christi KOA RV Park, with its welcoming spirit and scenic surroundings, proved to be the perfect setting. We had the pleasure of collaborating with Marie, the energetic and creative Activities Director, who went above and beyond to promote and prepare for the gathering. Brenda and I provided a selection of beer, wine, cheeses, and other refreshments for the evening.

The clubhouse soon filled with the lively buzz of more than two dozen enthusiastic guests, each eager to connect and share in the experience. My presentation and book signing sparked a spirited discussion—one of the most engaging and insightful exchanges I have ever been part of. The thoughtful questions and genuine curiosity of the attendees from a dozen different states made the evening truly unforgettable. Even better, since everyone’s abode was only a short walk away,  no one was in a hurry to leave. I look forward to the possibility of partnering with KOA again as we continue our book tour, bringing more author events to their vibrant and welcoming campgrounds.
